Hi, my name is Nathaniel, also known as The Philosophers Poet. I am a poet and creative caught between two worlds, and consider myself a mystic, a dreamer, and a free thinker. I like to write introspective pieces of work, focusing on the human experience, philosophy, inequality, discrimination, racism, empathy, trauma, spirituality, and existential matters. Through my own life experiences, I have come to believe that,
- All things are possible
- The reality of our reality is change, bent to the constant will of truth
- Paradox is simply truth, coupled with perspective and belief
- Truth exists in everything and its up to us to discern it, according to our own understanding
- ‘A truth’ is not the same as ‘the truth’
- It’s not what we do but why we do it that engenders our state of being
Through my writing and speaking I am keen to expand the human conscience and provide a mirror in which we can look at ourselves in a non-judgmental fashion. Choosing to believe that ‘anything is possible’, through my writing, blogging, learning, and shared experiences with others.
My mission is to,
- Empower all individuals and groups, particularly those who are marginalised and face discrimination.
- To support the creation of a less judgmental and more loving society through vulnerability and authenticity as our greatest strengths.
- To engage, discuss, and defuse conflict through, challenging and cathartic dialogue, conversation, collaboration.
- To open the way to empathy, self-development, introspection, and growth through the exploration of various philosophical, creative, & spiritual paths, and life choices.
- To provide a fresh, impartial, and alternative perspective with respect to humankind, belief systems, meaning, purpose, and change.
- To help and encourage others to find and live their true life’s purpose (myself included!).
